GYSSA
The GYSSA was formed to provide a positive, structured environment where YMCA swim teams may come together and enjoy equal opportunities and fair play, in the spirit of the National YMCA philosophy where “Everybody Swims, Everybody Wins.” The GYSSA seeks to provide member teams with healthy competitive swimming opportunities founded on the philosophy that character development is an essential element of the sport, including the YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
The GYSSA seeks to operate in accordance with the YMCA of the USA’s Rules that Govern YMCA Competitive Sports.
